The Unknown Territory

Looking for a friend

Someone has lost a friend

She can feel her around

Yet she is nowhere to be found

Growing up has its own downside

Respecting each other’s space and boundaries

Only if it was a few decades ago

She would follow her around

Oblivious of what anyone might think

She would nag her till, she drags her out

Out of the unknown territory

But for now they are adults

All she can do is wait

Wait and watch ,pray and wish

Wish she knows ,though miles apart

She is closest to her heart
