A Peek into My World
Thoughts of a writer
Writing is just like imagining, and you invite your reader to imagine with you. You make your own world and let others peek through. It can be as beautiful as your imagination, and as horrid as your fears, but whatever you write, you leave an impact on your reader; you make them feel a certain way.
The depths in your love story can make them feel the intensity. They can even feel the pain of lonely orphans just like you feel it while you carve his character. So whatever you write you share a piece of yourself, your imagination, your heart, your soul.
My Escape
For me putting my thoughts on paper is living another life or many other lives. Lives of each character in my stories from cute pink dragon to old grumpy troll. I live them all and they all live within me.
It is my escape to the fantasy world filled with the realities I want to create. I play with my own words, control my own characters, dream my own dreams so many things that are not possible otherwise.
At times I wonder what my life would be if I didn’t write. Every time any of my relationships are shaking I turn to write. From quarrels with friends and arguments with my husband to control issues with my kids, writing is my escape route.
Writing it down makes me aware of my own feeling and fears. I can analyze situations from other perspectives, it helps me untie the emotional point-scoring knots and learn from my mistakes.
